Dee Culbreth
Dee (Deidra) teaches at Pelion High School.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
She has been teaching for 2 years. She is currently teaching Environmental and Physical Science to grade 9. Her previous teaching includes the above in addition to teaching Biology Part 1 to grade 10.

Kelly Gerth
Kelly teaches at Gilbert High School. She holds a Masters degree in Education. She has taught for 5 years and is currently in her sixth year of teaching. She has taught a variety of science to grades 9-12. Her previous teaching experience includes Statistics to grade 11 and Strategies for Success to grade 9. Kelly is fond of sport and has responsibilities as a tennis and soccer coach at Gilbert; she also performs duties as a swim instructor and life guard.
Erin Green
Erin teaches at Pelion High School. She holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematical Sciences. She has been teaching for 4 years. She is currently teaching Geometry to grades 9-11 and Introductory Algebra. Her prior experience includes teaching Algebra II to grades 9-12 and Algebra 1. Outside teaching her interests include coaching.
Mark McAbee
Mark teaches at Pelion High School. He has a Masters of Education in Secondary Social Studies. He has been teaching for ten years. He currently teaches US History to grade 11. He has taught Grade World Geography, US Government, Economics and World History to grades 7-9. When he is not teaching, he has been known to drive buses and trucks.
Libby Newman
Libby teaches at Gilbert High School where she is department coordinator for Language Arts. She holds a Masters in Elementary Ed. She has been teaching for 15 years. She is currently teaching English 1 and IV to grades 9, 11 and 12. Her prior teaching experience includes English I-IV, Vocabulary and Composition, AP English and 5 th grade language arts. Her interests outside teaching include farming J , library assistance, youth pastor duties and coaching.
Riley Thomas
Riley teaches at Gilbert High School. He has a BA in Social Science. He has been teaching for 12 years. He is currently teaching US history to grade 10-11 and Geography to grade 9. His previous teaching experience includes Global Studies to grade 9, Psychology to grades 11 and 12 and Government – Economics to grade 12. His love of sport and the outdoors are evident in his interests and experience outside teaching which include basketball coaching for 13 years, football coaching for 11 years, baseball coaching for 2 years and lifeguard duties for 5 years. He has also been a bartender and landscaper.
Nicole Tune
Nicole works at Gilbert High School. She has a BA in English. She has 3 years of teaching experience which includes English Seminar 1, English II, Tech Prep and English II Pre- AP. She is currently in her fourth year of teaching and teaches English Seminar 1 Parts 1 and 2 to grade 9 and the Yearbook production to grades 10-12. 2006-7 is the first year that Nicole has taught the Yearbook. She has just returned to teaching, having worked as Assistant Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, Legal Assistant for a corporate law firm and a lead book seller at Barnes and Noble.
