Welcome to Project RAISSE, the Reading Assistance Initiative for Secondary School Educators.

Project RAISSE, designed to offer professional development for secondary school teachers, began in August 2006 and spans across two years, directly affecting 48 teachers, with total costs of $150,000.

Project RAISSE is affiliated with the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and it is generously funded by the Arthur Vining Davis Foundation.
