Shantelle Smalls
Latin DanceShantelle Smalls’ discovery of her love of dance began when she saw an African Dance Performance her senior year of high school. This performance motivated her to attend Columbia College where she eventually received a B.A. in Dance. This gave her the opportunity to explore ballet, contemporary, jazz, African, Indian, and many other dance styles. When she graduated she began her career in Ballroom and Latin Dance at Fred Astire Dance Studio. Shantelle then opened her own studio, “Love of Dance,” were she offers Latin: Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Rhythm: Shag, East Coast Swing, Ballroom: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Others: Hip Hop/Jazz, Line Dance, Beginning Yoga, Contemporary, Ballet, and Tap.Shantelle continued her education to receive her Master’s in Professional Counseling from South University.
