Bob Hamilton

 

Archery

Bob is a Certified Archery Instructor Trainer since January of 2009. He is active in the Boy Scouts of America local summer camp program at Camp Barstow on Lake Murray, South Carolina.

He is a Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow (a youth run leadership training organization) and a BSA Indian Waters Council Silver Beaver Award Recipient (an adult service award).

He is certified by the The National Rifle Association in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Black Powder Firearms. He is qualified in advanced NRA courses; home firearm safety, personal protection inside the home and personal protection outside the home. He is certified as a NRA Chief Range Officer.

Prior to being a certified CWP Instructor, Bob has a twenty-one year volunteer standing with The Boy Scouts of America, with nineteen years as a qualified Wood Badge Instructor and ten years in the BSA Shooting Sports Program.

Bob became a SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) Certified Concealed Weapons Instructor in January, 2009. He has ten years of experience in firearms and enjoys working with all students.

He specializes in custom pistol and rifle courses for women and young adults and consults with those who need help in choosing a firearm for concealment.

Bob also serves as a Health and Safety Instructor for the American Red Cross instructing CPR and Wilderness First Aid and a Hunter Safety Instructor for the Department of Natural Resources.
