Katie Coley is currently the Director of Outdoor Recreation at The University of South Carolina and works with Landmark Learning and Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) of NOLS teaching Leave No Trace and Wilderness First Aid Courses. Katie graduated with her Masters in Higher Education from the University of Missippi and is currently a Wilderness EMT. She is a North Carolina native who loves being in the classroom in and out of the field and has worked for a variety of outdoor programs all over the country but has planted her roots in the southeast. When Katie isn't working with her students at USC, you can find her trail running, mountain biking, climbing, rafting or playing at the beach with her trail dog, Rivers.
