Click on Start ----> Settings ---->
Printers

Double click on Add Printer
|

Click on Next
|

Select the radio button Local Printer
Uncheck Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer

Check the radio button Create a New Port
Select HP Standard TCP/IP port in the scroll bar
Click on Next

Click on Next in the Welcome to the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer

Before you follow the next step, you should know the IP Address of the network
printer you are trying to connect
Type in the IP address of the printer in the Printer Name or IP Address
Type in the port name in the Port Name or you can leave the default
port name
Click on Next

Click on Finish in the Completing the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer

Select the Printer manufacturing company from Manufacturers and
the model of the printer from Printers and click on Next
If the printer is not listed, it means that the driver is not installed for the
printer. So you need to install the printer to connect it

Type in the name of the printer in the Printer name and click on
Next

Select the radio button Do not share this printer and click on
Next
|
|
|
Select the radio button Yes and click on Next
|
