Getting Started

USC Computer Labs with SAS

  • College of Education, Instructional Support, Computer Lab, Wardlaw 274 Hallway and Wardlaw 274-F. There are four computers with the SAS software loaded on it in these public areas. You can print from the computers for $ .10 per page. The labs are open when the Training Center is open from 8:30 - 5:00PM on Monday - Friday.

  • College of Arts and Sciences, Gambrell Hall, Computer Lab, Basement Room 003. Phone: 777-7840. There are approximately 24 PCs that have SAS software loaded on them. You can print for $.10 a page. The lab hours vary each semester but check their hours on their site at:

  • Introduction to SAS
    A good, step-by-step introduction to using SAS. It requires some navigation to get where you want to be, but the instructions are clear and concise.

  • SAS for Windows Tutorial
    This is a comprehensive but rather dense tutorial. It shows examples of SAS actions, but has a lot of explanation.

  • SAS Online Tutorial
    This is a very good introductory site that allows you to place the tutorial in a window next to the actual SAS program window. Good for beginners.
