2010 NNER Annual Conference
FRIDAY EVENING EVENT
Please join us for an evening of drinks, hors d’oeurves and a Tony Award Winning musical comedy production, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, presented by the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University on Friday evening! Take the block-long walk over to the Illinois State University campus where we will meet in the beautiful, new Center for Performing Arts for an hors d’oeurves reception beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
The College of Fine Arts will then present the “Bee” at 7:30 p.m. Audience members (NNER notables included!) will be selected to participate in this hilarious production of angst-ridden adolescents vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The School of Theatre at Illinois State University is one of the nation’s finest. This show which features a quirky, yet charming cast of outsiders for whom the spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time, will provide a comic touch to the work of our NNER conference.
A separate registration fee of $25.00 is required and must be received by Friday, October 1, 2010.
