The Office of
Accreditation and Quality Assurance compiles and submits several
internal and external reports and survey requests, annually.
|

AACTE/NCATE Annual Report
Each year, the Professional Education Unit is required to
submit a report to the American Association of Colleges of
Teacher Education (AACTE) and NCATE. The report contains
enrollment, gender/ethnicity, and degree counts for a fiscal
year. The Office of Accreditation & Quality Assurance
maintains hard copies of this section of the report, but links
are provided below for the section of the report that focuses on
progress made within the 6 NCATE standards.

Productivity Report
After the 2003-04 academic year (AY) the Associate Dean for
Faculty and Student Affairs requested that an annual report be
submitted to the COE Administration on the "health" of PEU
programs. The report includes, based on one AY, admission
score averages by program, enrollment figures by program, COE
and PEU mission and conceptual framework, faculty counts by COE
department, and degrees awarded by program.

Strategic Plan
The Accreditation &
Quality Assurance Office works with the Associate Dean for
Administration and Research to compile the COE Strategic Plan
for submission to the Office of the Provost.

Title II
Institutional Report
According to the
Higher Education Act, institutions are required to report the
number of program completers and additional information,
annually, from their teacher preparation programs. The SC
Department of Education collects these reports each year and
works with institutions to finalize data for final Federal
reporting requirements.
