Course Announcements:

Dear EDFN 300 Students,

I have been receiving a few queries about what books will be assigned in our class. I write  NOT to ask you to read or engage in any preparation for our course; there are NO “pre-class assignments.” Just attend the first class session, and I will introduce the semester’s activities. However, if anyone would like to order their books in advance, I suspect you will be able to save a few dollars.

We will be using one book: Craig Kridel (2009). Classic Edition Sources: Education, 4th edition. New York: McGraw-Hill.  [Please do not obtain the third edition; the entire text has been changed.] I have ordered the books for the USC Bookstore and the SC Bookstore, and there should be used copies of Classic Edition Sources. On-line vendors are selling copies of Classic Edition Sources at $20-26.00 (including shipping).

I look forward to meeting you.

Most cordially, Craig Kridel

p.s. Please know that EDFN 300 is oriented for junior and senior-level students. First year students are not encouraged (officially, are not allowed) to enroll.
