M.Ed in Teaching Middle Level Education
The MEd in Teaching with an emphasis in Middle Level is intended to allow middle school certified teachers to explore an area of inquiry useful to their particular teaching setting. This graduate program can also be modified to allow teachers who are currently certified in other areas to add-on middle level certification in math, science, social students, and English/language arts.
Once a student is accepted in the MEd in Teaching with a Middle Level emphasis, he/she will meet with the assigned advisor to help create a customized program. For more information about the MEd in Teaching see http://www.ite.sc.edu/MEdinTeaching.pdf or contact, David Virtue at virtue@mailbox.sc.edu
If you are certified teacher interested in getting middle level add-on please contact the OnTrack program at ontrack@mailbox.sc.edu.
