How to Set Up a FedEx Account
To set up a new account number to bill shipments to a Credit Card for your department please do the following:
Sign in on www.FedEx.com
Click on Open an Account: (UNDER LOGIN TO MY FEDEX)
Register without a discount: (our rates are better than the 10% offered)
Use the FedEx Business Account Registration:
Contact Name
Company Name
Street Address
City
State
Zip Code
Country
Telephone number
Email Address
Credit Card Type
Credit Card Expiration Date
Credit Card CVV or CID Code
Answer the questions:
How many letters and small parcels does your business ship using domestic Overnight
delivery service?
How many letters and small parcels does your business ship using Non Overnight delivery
service?
How many packages does your business ship internationally?
What is your primary role in the shipping process?
SEND REQUEST
After getting your account number please email it to debra.hart@fedex.com . We will then set you up with discounts. This usually takes 1 –3 days and your discounts will be in place. Please don't set up your account number and then expect discounts the same day. If you need help in setting up an account, you may call Debra Hart at 706-650-0005.
If you fail to send your account number to Debra Hart, you will not receive discounts.
To order supplies please call 1-800-Go FedEx (1-800-463-3339) or you may order them online at www.fedex.com . This will give you a menu to order supplies or to call in a pick up at your location.
If you are shipping many packages daily either Domestic or International, FedEx will meet and discuss the use of one of its Automated Shipping Systems. FedEx provides these to shippers who ship large volumes from one location.
If you need a daily pick-up please call the 1-800-GoFedEx (1-800-463-3339). They will schedule a daily stop and you will not have to call in each day.
