A PEU task force revised the USC Conceptual Framework during 2005-06. The revised framework was presented to the College of Education faculty at the spring 2006 faculty meeting and to the Professional Education Program Committee meeting in fall 2006. The framework was condensed to 13 elements and retitled as Collaborative Educational Leader. A new element for advanced programs was added and the framework title for advanced programs became Collaborative Educational Leader and Advocate.
