The original web page was a small sample of web sites and software that could be used to enhance thematic units. Unfortunately, too many of the thematic links on the page changed and the original software cited had become outdated. I have since developed a set of "toolboxes" of annotated web resources. Of particular value are the thematic toolboxes. Please follow this link to the thematic units page http://www.ed.sc.edu/caw/toolboxtheme.html. Using the Theme Toolbox you will find links to examples of both resource links AND student activity links. Consider locating web sites that can scaffold the learning for students or provide them with activity models related to their unit topic.
