The Power of Ten in 2010
Dips in the economy have taken their toll on the College of Education’s Carolina Fund, on which we heavily depend on to support so many of the College’s efforts. In 2010, we ask that each of our alumni commit to give $10. The power of 10 from all of our alumni can REALLY make a difference.
$10 from 10 alumni would provide needed supplies for the Teaching Fellows Program.
$10 from 100 alumni would allow three students to attend a professional development conference.
$10 from 1,000 alumni would provide a needs-based scholarship for one year.
$10 from 10,000 alumni would assist a graduate student with a fellowship.
$10 from ALL of our 25,000 alumni would provide required internships for ALL of our teacher candidates.

The College of Education's Alumni and Development office promotes involvement in the life of the College through its alumni and friends The Office seeks financial support from alumni, corporations and foundations to further the College's mission of excellence. Private support is used to increase the College's endowment, number of fellowships, program enhancements, technology support, and professorships and chairs.
