High School Initiatives 2000+

This project, on behalf of Richland School District Two, described and analyzed various components of the Initiatives program and recommended changes to improve effectiveness. This Initiative sought to provide a learning environment where students could be successful, both academically and socially through a series of safety nets designed to assist students in making the transition from middle school through high school graduation.

An Investigation of Technical Issues Related to the South Carolina Accountability System

The primary purpose of this study was to determine the reasons why recipients have chosen to repay their loans. In addition, the characteristics of “repayers” (e.g., gender, level of education, and ethnicity), the motivation of recipients to initially consider a career in teaching, and the teaching status of those choosing to repay were examined.
