Select the degree program for which your are applying:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Early Childhood Education (This program is for initial certification.)

Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Early Childhood (Not for initial teacher certification)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Early Childhood Education (Not for initial teacher certification)

 

 

 

 

B.A. in Early Childhood Education

Apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for the B.A. degree programs in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To apply to the M.Ed. or Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education, you must:

1. Complete the on-line Graduate School application.

2. Submit 2 letters of recommendation to the Graduate School (USC Graduate School, 901 Sumter St. #304, Columbia, SC 29208). Page down for Letter of Recommendation in PDF or Word format.

3. Submit a Letter of Intent to the Graduate School (not needed for M.Ed. Early Childhood applicants). This letter is part of your on-line Graduate School application.

4. Submit official transcripts reflecting undergraduate degree and any graduate work to the Graduate School.

5. Submit scores on either the Graduate Record Examination or the Miller Analogies Test to the Graduate School.
