Select the degree program for which you are applying:
Bachelor of Science in Business and Technology Education (B.S.) (for initial teacher certification)
Master of Arts in Teaching in Business Education (M.A.T.) (for initial teacher certification)
Interdisciplinary Master of Arts in Business Education (I.M.A.) (not for initial teacher certification)
B.S. in Business and Technology Education
Apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for the B.S. degree program in Business and Technology Education.

To apply to the M.A.T in Business Education, you must:
1. Print and read all information in the MAT General Advisement Guide and Student Guide.
2. Complete the on-line Graduate School application. Indicate on the application the particular M.A.T. program in which you wish to enroll.
3. Submit 2 letters of recommendation to the Graduate School (USC Graduate School, 901 Sumter St. #304, Columbia, SC 29208). Page down for Letter of Recommendation in PDF or Word format.
4. Submit scores on either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test to the Graduate School.
5. Submit official transcripts reflecting undergraduate degree and any graduate work to the Graduate School.
6. Check with a representative from area to which you are applying for any additional requirements.

To apply to the I.M.A. in Business Education, you must:
1. Print and read all information in the I.M.A General Advisement Guide.
2. Complete the on-line Graduate School application. Indicate on the application the particular degree program in which you wish to enroll.
3. Submit 2 letters of recommendation to the Graduate School (USC Graduate School, 901 Sumter St. #304, Columbia, SC 29208). Page down for Letter of Recommendation in PDF or Word format.
4. Submit scores on either the Graduate Record Examination or the Miller Analogies Test to the Graduate School. Some areas do not accept the Miller (contact your area regarding test requirements).
5. Submit official transcripts reflecting undergraduate degree and any graduate work to the Graduate School.
6. Check with a representative from area to which you are applying for any additional requirements.
