After being admitted to USC-Columbia, entering freshmen and students who are transferring from an institution outside the USC system should sign up for orientation May 30-July 3, 2008. Visit the office of orientation at http://orientation.sc.edu for more information.

Advisement

Fall 2008 and Summer 2008 advisement begins on March 3, 2008 and ends on April 4, 2008.

Students cannot register for classes until they have been advised. Advisement occurs in small groups. Sign-up sheets will be available in the Student Affairs office (Wardlaw, Room 113) early in the Spring semester. You will be notified through your USC email with specifics regarding advisement.

Change of Major Workshops

Change of major workshops are held for current USC students who are interested in changing their major to Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle Level education. All workshops are held in the conference room in Wardlaw, room 113. You must sign up in advance for a workshop. Call 777-3570 to reserve a seat for one of the workshops. Workshops are scheduled on:

February 20 at 3:30

February 26 at 3:30

April 15 at 1:00

April 23 at 2:00

April 29 at 3:30

May 7 at 11:00
